We call a user of the Task4Less Platform a “User,” or collectively, the “Users.”
"You";and;"You're";refer to an individual User of the Task4Less Platform. The community platform that we offer at our website (www.Task4Less.com) is referred to as the “Site.”
The platform and related services provided by Task4Less, the Website and mobile applications (whether on iOS or Android), including without limitation information provided by Task4Less to potential and actual Users in relation to the services, together are called the “Task4Less Platform.”
You may withdraw your consent to receiving marketing communications from us at any time. However, withdrawing consent will result in your inability to use any features of the Service which require registration or membership.
Collection of Information
We aim to collect, use and disclose only such information as is required to enable us to manage your account, to provide the Service, to process payments, to maintain our customer/visitor lists, to respond to your inquiries or provide feedback, for identification and authentication purposes and for service improvement. We will maintain the confidentiality of any contact information you provide to us on signing up for our Services or contacting us with questions or for further information and we will use it only for the purposes for which we have collected it (subject to the exclusions and disclosures we have listed below), unless you agree that we may disclose it to other third parties.
Two types of information may be collected through the Service: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.
"Personal Information"is personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information, mobile phone number, profile picture, and gender. We also collect location data at the time of collection, we will clearly identify the information being collected and the purposes for which it will be used. We may collect Personal Information in respect of the Service through registration processes; communications with you; information downloads; service purchases; user support; and surveys.
Use of Tasker’s Information
We collect information for the following purposes:
Registration: If you are registering as a Tasker, you are required to fill the registration form which includes name, mailing address, gender, phone number, Bank Information, date of birth and a profile picture. You are also required to upload a profile picture, license certificate, driving license, permanent resident/work permit/ passport We will use this information for verification purposes and to set up your account.
Phone / Video Interview: After registration one of our HR associate contact with Tasker for phone/video interview to continue the hiring process and HR may collect any further information as per the procedure. Information may include licensing, Liability Insurance, prove of authorized to work in Canada.
Background Check: Based on above-given information we also take consent from Tasker to conduct a background check for the completion of the on-boarding process.
Approval Process: After the completion of the vetting process we take initiative either approval of the registration or the rejection of registration in both scenario we send email to tasker about the status of registration within 3 to 4 days.
Accepting Task Request: If the tasker approved in our system then he can start accepting task request from the poster in his designated category/subcategory. During the process, both the tasker and poster can not share their personal information on chat and phone, and in the system, they can not see each other personal information like phone number, email etc.
Completion of Task: Once the Tasker Complete the task on the date and time of the task, Tasker clicks on complete task button and system charge the task amount from the poster’s credit card, during the all process tasker is not involved in collecting any sort of credit card or banking information.
Use of Poster’s Information
We collect information for the following purposes:
Registration:At the time of registration, you must provide certain personal information to us such as your full name, phone number, email address, location address, and credit card information.
Posting a Task:If you post a task, you need to select your desired category/subcategory, address where the task is to be executed, task description, as well as your credit card information. We use this information (excluding your payment information) to allocate your task to a specific Tasker. We don’t share any personal, credit card or other information with Tasker.
Approval of a Task:Once a task is posted, our algorithm will charge the Poster’s credit card by 50 cents for pre-authorization of credit card information (Final payment will be charged on the completion of the task). If pre-authorization fails, the task is unapproved and one of our customer relations representatives will get in touch with the Poster.
Assigning of a Task:Once a Tasker accept a task, the Tasker will be provided with the Poster’s contact information and call the Poster to confirm the time and scope of the task. During the process Poster should expect a phone call or message from Tasker about further information on the scope of work, if there is any issue then either party can decline and inform our Customer Relations representative.
Completion of a Task:On the posted date and time of the task, Tasker will reach the location on time and complete the task.
Processing of Final Payment: Once the tasker completes the task, final payment will be charged from the poster’s credit card that already pre-authorized during Posting of Task, in case if Payment fail (due to insufficient balance or any unknown reason) after completion of Task, system provide the second attempt for payment with another credit card/ debit card.
Tasker Profiles:If you are registered as a Tasker, then your profile (including the Tasker’s photo, qualifications, ratings, and reviews) will be visible to Poster on a need basis to write or read reviews, see previous work history or any other relevant aspect Task4Less may deem relevant within the scope of this website.
Poster Profiles:If you are registered as a Poster, then only your name, address, task detail, date & time and your profile picture will be share with tasker.
Payment Information:Poster must pay for the Services via valid credit card or debit card. If you are paying by credit card you must submit your credit card information to our merchant account gateway provided and hosted by Stripe. All payment information is stored by our payment processors, and Task4Less does not hold, process or store any credit card or payment information.
Tasker Bank Accounts:If you are a Tasker, we require information about your bank account so that we can deposit your fees directly into your bank account. We will not use your bank account information for any purpose other than to pay you for the Tasker Services you provide and complete.
Marketing Communications:If you opt-in to receive marketing communications from us, we will keep you up to date on our products and services. You may withdraw your consent to receiving marketing communications from us at any time by following the opt-out instructions in each communication.
Location Data:At the time of posting of task your location will automatically be picked up and suggested as the current location, although you will have the option to manually update your desired location. This location is used as the default for when you are requesting or responding to task requests to enable you to find and be found on the Service by other local Users. If you are using the Task4Less mobile application, you must turn on location services on your mobile device and grant the Task4Less App permission to access your location. We track Poster’s locations to determine which Taskers are in your Area. We track Tasker’s current location will also be tracked and transmitted by the Task4Less App using your mobile phone’s GPS feature.
Statistics:We also collect statistics about the use of the Service. This information will be kept confidential, however, aggregate statistics that do not personally identify an individual will be kept by us and such aggregate statistics may be made available to other members or third parties.
From time to time we may employ third parties to help us improve our technology and the Service. These third parties may have limited access to databases of user information solely for the purpose of helping us to improve our technology and the Service and they will be subject to contractual restrictions prohibiting them from using the information about our members for any other purpose.
Important Exceptions:We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties without your consent if we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other Users, or anyone else (including the rights or property of anyone else) that could be harmed by such activities. We may disclose Personal Information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is required by and in accordance with the law.
Security:The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain your Personal Information in a secure environment. We take technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps designed to protect Personal Information that you provide to us. We have implemented procedures designed to limit the dissemination of your Personal Information to only such designated staff as are reasonably necessary to carry out the stated purposes we have communicated to you.
In certain areas, such as when you provide credit card or other payment information to us, we work to help protect the security of your credit card and other payment information during transmission by using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology.
You are also responsible for helping to protect the security of your Personal Information. For instance, never give out your email account information or your password for the Service to third parties.
Access and Accuracy:You have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you in order to verify the Personal Information we have collected in respect to you and to have a general account of our uses of that information. Upon receipt of your written request, we will provide you with a copy of your Personal Information although, in certain limited circumstances, we may not be able to make all relevant information available to you such as where that information also pertains to another user. In such circumstances, we will provide reasons for the denial to you upon request. We will endeavor to deal with all requests for access and modifications in a timely manner. We will make every reasonable effort to keep your Personal Information accurate and up-to-date, and we will provide you with mechanisms to update, correct, delete or add to your Personal Information as appropriate. As appropriate, this amended Personal Information will be transmitted to those parties to which we are permitted to disclose your information. Having accurate Personal Information about you enables us to give you the best possible service.
